I had a decent stay at Wot New Lisbon, with friendly staff and a prime location in Bairro Alto. My room was a bit noisy at times, and I noticed some cleanliness issues in the bathroom. Breakfast was simple but adequate for the price.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in a spacious apartment at the back of the hotel, but the bathroom had a strange odor and could use better ventilation. Overall, it was comfortable but sometimes noisy.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and quick to help, which really made a difference. However, some processes, like check-in, had a few hiccups that could be improved.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bairro Alto, close to bars and restaurants. It was an easy walk to metro stations too.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a bit lackluster, consisting mainly of bread, jams, and juice, but it served its purpose to fill me up in the morning.
Facilities

I enjoyed the common areas, especially the bar, which was a great place to relax and meet other travelers. The WiFi was also excellent.

6.2/10

I had a good experience at Wot New Lisbon, but there were a few hiccups. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bairro Alto, making it super easy to explore the city's nightlife. I loved the common areas—they're perfect for meeting people. However, the bathrooms could use some extra attention as they weren't always up to par. Overall, I'd recommend this place for solo travelers looking to connect with others.

Rooms
6.0
The room was decent, but I ran into some issues like a clogged shower drain and thin linens that didn’t keep me warm enough. Also, I found the bunk beds a bit shaky, which made it hard to get a good night's rest with all the foot traffic around.
Service
8.0
The staff were super friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand when I needed something. It was great to feel like I could rely on them.
Location
9.0
The hostel's location is perfect for nightlife lovers. It's right near Barrio Alto, and even with the hills, it's a great spot to kick off my Lisbon adventures.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was simple but decent—just bread and some spreads, but hey, it was included, so I can’t complain too much. A bit more variety would be nice, though.
Facilities
7.0
The common areas are vibrant and filled with activities, but I wished they offered more organized events to pull guests together, like movie nights or trivia. It feels like they could really amp up the fun factor.

My stay at Wot New Lisbon was a mixed experience. The location in Barrio Alto is amazing, placing me right in the heart of Lisbon's nightlife. The staff was generally friendly and helpful, but I did encounter some awkward situations regarding my booking. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was a plus, but the breakfast could have offered more variety. Overall, I had a good time, but there’s some room for improvement.

Rooms

My bed in the 6-bed mixed dorm was comfy, and I appreciated the lil' privacy curtains. Cleanliness was on point, but the bathroom layout felt a bit awkward with the washbasin too close to the beds.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff were warm and welcoming. However, there was one situation where the reception treatment was less than ideal, which left a bit of a sour note on my stay.
Location
10.0
This place is right in the vibrant Barrio Alto, making it super convenient to hit the bars and restaurants. I had easy access to tram routes and beautiful miradouros, which rocked!
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was decent with toast, jam, and some fruit, but it could’ve offered more options. I felt like I needed something a bit more filling to start my day.
Facilities
7.0
The hostel had cool hangout spots, including a cozy lounge and a ball pit, which was a fun touch. However, there was some room for improvement on the cleanliness and organization of shared spaces.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at Wot New Lisbon. The staff were super friendly, but my nights were interrupted by noise and some discomfort in the dorm. The location was great for exploring the city, especially being close to Bairro Alto, but I expected a bit more from the breakfast options.

Rooms
5.0
My dorm was a bit noisy, especially with people walking by and talking loudly at night. The beds were decent, but I felt it was overcapacity with ten people in an eight-bed dorm. Cleanliness was good, but some fixtures showed their age.
Service
8.0
The staff were really helpful and friendly, making my check-in experience quite pleasant despite some hiccups on the second day. They provided great assistance when I had questions.
Location

The hostel is in a nice, quiet street yet close to the vibrant Bairro Alto, which was perfect for nightlife. I loved being able to explore the surrounding areas easily.
Dining

Breakfast was okay but a bit basic—just bread, spreads, and cereals. It could definitely use some variety to make it more appealing.
Facilities
6.0
The common areas had a nice vibe, and there were tours and happy hours available. However, some areas felt a bit worn out.

My stay at Wot New Lisbon was quite mixed. The location was fantastic, close to the metro and the Bairro Alto area, which is great for nightlife. However, my experience with the room was disappointing due to cleanliness issues and the noise levels. While I did enjoy some social aspects, the lack of proper ventilation and the discomfort from the shared bathrooms were significant downsides.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had poor ventilation and was not as clean as I'd hoped. The shared bathrooms were also quite messy, which was off-putting.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, but there were some hiccups with check-in and arrangements for transportation that could have been better managed.
Location

The hostel is in a perfect spot, just a short walk to the city center and close to eateries and bars. I really appreciated how accessible everything was.
Dining

Breakfast was pretty basic. While they had good quality bread, I felt there could have been better variety to choose from.
Facilities

The common areas were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed the lounge filled with music, and the ball pit was a fun touch.
